  • What do you use to fill the bumper and rear lock? normal 2 pack filler?



  • some 2pack fibreglass fill (ill get the name for you) theN some 2pack body filler to get a smooth finish i did the same for the sun roof

    ive welded it in the roof but i do have a red one spare

  • With the welding I think you need to go down the route of rear lights from a skyline and front have some BMW proper halos.

    Look forward to seeing how this turns out, are you doing the remove the boot lid and replace with a home made tailgate too :wink: :wink:

    naa im trying to keep it like an mx-3 but a bit smoother

  • There was someone selling plastic rear screens if your going to put it on a diet. Its on the forum somewhere if i remember rightly but it may have just been an idea. I cant remember lol



  • 'twas me. Long story short company is being pain in arse. Will chase up again in new year. Must have been a year now since they agreed to make it.

    no rust problem lol


    this was my little idea for he splitter
    i have smothed the joint out i think it looks better




    rear arch now rust free

    sun roof just about finnished

    boot finished and ready for paint

    p.40 first

    You re-weld over the rust on the sill or was that P-40'd as well.

    I'm tempted to do some work on mine now ya git lol

    i cut the rust out and then welded a new piece on the inside then body filled over the top

    im going to have a break for two day but will be working on the red one so not a brak realy lol its going for srap soon so pulling parts off and post up for sale and try and get some funds for this project

    ye im going to sand and paint as its only surface rust

    engine bay will have some work next week too lol
