    Cant remember about spark leads, might need them.

  • woops!, well im sure you need distributer, unless you can hei mod the mx6 one im not sure? marco is the man in the know how!.
    Its only a possibility about leads, if you can use mx6 distributer you might be ok.

  • had a quick read, and its not been edited but you definately need a je50 air flow meter not a mx6 one. Surprised thats never been edited.

    I have got a KLDE dizzy off of a V6 probe on my KLZE, if you have still got a K8 engine spare, keep it or strip it, I had to change the steering pump over too. you should be able to use ZE leads

  • I think it's more about the year of disty rather than the car it came from. It's just easier to say 'use the one you had with the k8' as it will match your harness. The order of pins on the 3 pin plug changed at some stage, which can be rewired if yours happens to not work.

    The other difference is 94/95 or thereabouts have two cam sensors, a 6 vane and a 180 sensor, which is what I needed for dual trigger megasquirt.



  • exhaust manifolds and mounts need swapping, I kept k8 dizzy, leads don't need swapping think they are the same.

    Also if its a Straight Neck (MX-6 is) then you'll want a battery relocation kit and move the expantion tank over and remount it.
