well my alternator belt snapped yesterday on the m6. 1.5hrs i waited for recovery any way, i got a new belt but it was a pig to fit. My hands are scratched like mad from trying to refit the top tensioner bolt. Thanks to mazda for tucking it away under all the vacuum hoses. Feel sorry for the v6 guys.

haha unlucky! I just kept driving home when my crank pulley split in 2. Yea they can be a pita, especially as the tensioner bolts seem to chew up way too easily!

the easiest way for us 6 bangers is to change the engine lol
