Im right with you on that notion. In fact I wouldn't thank you for an Evo or scooby either. If money was no issue I probably would go for either a BMW Mini Cooper S, Grand Prix (Only 500 made but very pricy and huge waiting list) or a Golf R32. If I won the lottery I would like to think I would also still keep my MX3 and get all body work done, respray, swap the engine, turbo, NOS and kit it out to the hilt pimp my ride style with lambo doors and personal number plate. The main let down is the K plate people realise its age but do not believe its that old in such good nick. Like I said it looks mint as it is but the red is hard to keep red. Its all original paint aswell. I can wax then 3 days later starting to not be as shiny.
Within my budget the only other car I would want is a Mitsubishi GTO 3L twin turbo mk I only. I love the width of that back end. They are expensive for the age of the car and even more expensive to run. I fell in love with the GTO when I used to spend all my time playing Gran Turismo 1 on the PS1. But I am more passionate about MX3's and would not swap one for anything at the moment. I might swap one for a car with much higher value but only to sell it and get a better MX3. The V6 is enough to get you out of trouble but I am seeking more power. Money is the biggest constraint at the moment so for now will have to swap like for like engine. There are not any other cars I would consider. I got to say though I only like red ones unless they have lots of aftermarket bits sticking out. I am contemplating cutting my bonnet and sticking 2 Astra GSI bonet vents in. I already got SQ red paint.
My lady doesn't understand the car. She loved my first one more than me until it started to go wrong. She even drove it harder than me. In fact my tracking was out and one day she came back with 2 rear punchers and two front tyres chamfered on the inside. I checked it only a couple of days before and was fine. I needed 4 new tyres and they were decent that were already on. She blamed me for that aswell.

numerplates are easy changed! Yea gtos are mad cars. Biggest mx3 let down to me is FWD. Not so easy to change that! 323gtr awd swap seems to be all anyones came up with. Mx3 can be a fun car for the money. It'd be a shame to have 2 scrapped when they could be combined to one decent one.

And yea winning the lottery I would make the most awesome mx3 ever! But keep it kinda sleeperish… ah how fun it would be, v8 subtley hidden in the back pulling up beside a gayvo or subarpoo...

It sounds like you like evos and subarus even less than me. All my m8's used to rave about them and I never bothered.
My bird drives a nice looking Saab 93. She got as a bargain and I suppose it is quite a nice looking car. Everybody says its a great drive but I hate it. Gears are wierd you need reverse to get the key out and its by the handbrake. The seats don't hold you, you seem too high and it handles like crap too with no real power. Before that she had a Punto sporting that she wrote off. Appart from the red key issue with Fiat, that was a decent car. We only had the red key and this is a service key that can only be used around 1000 turns otherwise it renders the ECU knackered. Even with this in mind this was not the end of the car. She smacked it up good and proper. We got good pay off the insurance and she bought a 1.3 Fiesta (For the love of god of all the cars to buy). That was a shocker.
I love my MX3 all round!

lol sounds like she can't really talk down to you about your mx! Is the saab 2.0turbo engine? Look like boats to me.
You can use somewhere like imageshack.us, photobucket or one of the many other free online photo uploaders. Many of them even give you the code in a box to drop straight into forums :)

Well in that case you 2 can take pitty :cry: - I was having areally bad week. The same day I blew my car, the washing machine packed up. I had to go comando for a week lol. But worse my EF 50mm f/1.8 lens front element just popped off, rolled down my roof, onto my bonet and crashed to the floor. I only got it christmas and is my sharpest, fastest lens.
Plot thickens! The guy in the shop retired and closed business and canon said it sounds like it has been dropped and had impact damage therefore voiding the warranty. What impact damage? Who by? Not effing me and thats for sure! I was well hissed off. I tried everything, citizens advice, consumer direct and trading standards. The conclusion is I have to prove I never dropped it, which is impossible now its bounced. :evil:
What good is a waranty if its worth jack-shite! Also notice we now have not 1 but 2 working and plumbed in washing machines. Her in doors gets her way quick enough!
