Exhaust Wrap

  • I've been told by a reliable source that MX3's hold a lot of temperature under the bonnet?

    Is this true?

The car feels really responsive when i drive for the first few minutes, then as the engine heats up, its not as responsive.

    Could it be the heat?

Gonna buy the wrap anyway, but was just wondering if anyone else had similar experience?

  • yea they're hot engines bays for sure! Things to help:
    Cold air intake
Bonnet vents/scoops or aftermarket bonnet with vents
Outlaw engineering phelonic spacers to keep the IM cool
and yea heat wrap could help too

  • mines the otherway around runs beter when its hoter
