Performance Air Filter

Hey guys,

i was wondering if someone could help.

im looking to buy a Performance Air Filter and am not sure which one to get.

I was thinkin the BMC CDA one, meant to be good and looks sweet.

I dont want a cone under the bonnet sucking in hot air tho.

Apparently for every 20 degrees of heat, you loose 3% power.

that ones for the V6 for the 4 cylinder get the one i have its awsome!

looks like this when its fitted:

the filter sits in the inner wing so doesnt get hot! there is a fitting guide on mx-3.com i think but once you work out where the black plates go its easy!

james, how loud does it sound?

im kinda looking for one that gets loud when my right foot gets heavy!

did you notice any power gains from it?

it sounds great when you accelerate with the foot to the floor, i didnt notice much of a gain( dont think any ait filter will boost power noticably) but just started accelerating faster to hear the noise its sooo accdictive!
