Low Fuel light?
-
Hi guys (and gals)
Just trying to clean up the car before its on the road. Seems that my low fuel light doesn't work (that's if it is supposed to be one by the gauge?)
Is it easy to change? I assume I have to remove the clocks to get at it?
Thank you :)

By all accounts some MX-3's have them, some dont.
Yes very easy to get the dash binacle out to replace the bulb if it needs a new one, just a few screws around the outside and up underneath.

Nice one, thanks :)
I'll start where you say and see where I end up! ;). The previous owner said it never worked and is just something I want to put right :)
On a slightly different note, could you tell me if I would be right in using 10w40 semi synth oil in the motor?

Could possibly be the sender in the fuel tank too!
-
Ah no, don't say that!!! Lol
Don't suppose there is a way of forcing the light to come on (bypassing the sender) just to save taking stuff apart?

I never run mine below quarter anyway in case of junk that fuel stations pump into the tank block the filter up
take the binnaclethe fuel light is the very last bulb at the bottom, the smallest one on the picture
if you are taking the binnacle out, why not pimp it up a little with a nice bezel stuck on and change the colour of the bulbs over to a blue led bulb
On the rear all the bulb are held in with holders that you twist off, warning lights etc are white and the green night time lights are all green holders, they are they same size as the side lights bulbs for the dash illumination

Thanks for the info, never done bulbs in the dash before, god it's a small bulb! :o

for the LED bulbs that make your dashboard look newer you eed
T5 bulb for warning lights
T10 for night illuminationand they cost peanuts in the uk its £5.00 for 10 x T10 inc P&P and the T5 leds are 99p for 2 with postage
