MX-6 Gearbox vs Standard MX-3 Gearbox

Driving the car with the nomral K8, the gears are rather set for acceleration.
Out of interest, is the MX-6 box any different in gearing? And would one just bolt on to a normal K8?

Yes the MX-6 and 626 (at least in the US) have the taller 4.11 gearing vs. the MX-3 4.39 gearing. MX-6 V6 is bolt in (g-series).
