KLZE

  • There used to bea thread on what was needed for the transplant but I'm unable to find the bugger now.

    Anyone got a complete list?

  • If you go onto mx-3.com, there is a step by step guide. On the phone now so too much hassle to go find the link :D

  • Sweet.. MX6 driveshafts needed ?

  • Nope the 3 are fine.
Think about updated engine mounts tho and clutch for sure

All you need from mx6 are kl31 or kl36 ecu, klze, I'd take the flexi intake pipe also, you could make up one tho. That's it.
    1.8 distributor, 2.5 or 1.8 gearbox. 1.8 driveshafts. 1.8 vaf.

    Future, look at upgraded manifolds.

Maintenance, cam belt, water pump and retainers while engine is out.

Engine bay clean as its gonna be your only chance to get decent access.

    Sweet,

I've got all the engine extras with the engine, inc some corksport parts, short shifter, clutch\brake lines.

    Quick question.. what's a manifold?

  • Exhaust manifold.
Have you got curved neck or straight neck intake ? Battery relocation ??

  • straight neck intake, battery is currently in the stock location.

  • If you look at Marcos straight neck photos your see you can get the battery in there but your need a tight bend to clear it.
I've wondered what the small red top batteries could cope with v6 starting.
