Mostly used with towing a caravan, not an everyday thing.

Got to agree with Lori as there is no other reason for them. Just look at how many 4x4's have bonnet mounted mirrors ;)

Looks like mooneggs has found a new part to search for and fit, in my quest for JDM parts last year I did see a eunos online with one fitted and one issing with a couple of holes thought they were just an aftermarket thing someone had left over from their mk3 cortina
I am considering these for the MX now

You know I remember seeing a picture of those on a car months back and was like WTH miata mirrors on the front fenders…. :?
Mark - they would be kind of sweet for track days.... :D
