Eunos/Equipe ECU

I know all the standard UK V6 have the revs limited to 6500 RPM but the Eunos and Equipes have it limited at 7500 RPM, I am guessing that this is all controlled by the ECU.
So if I put a Eunos or Equipe ECU on a standard UK V6 this should just move the limiter back a bit or is it more in depth than just a swap :?:

my v6 limits at 7500

Uk models red line is @ 6500 and cuts out at 7500, Eunos and Equipes red line starts at 7500 and limits at 8.5 IIRC.

my mistake just checked and it limits at 7200

Miy k8 used to limit at 7500 too, so you could just swap for a euro k819 ecu. (And get it Mazdarati Chipped while at it.. ;))
Though my klze loses power over 6300, so the gain must be minimal..
