I just said I wanted a "full stainless steel cat back system with twin tips on the backbox that will sound meaty". They showed me some tips, I chose one I liked and they got to bending and welding pipes. Good luck :)

I called A44 today and it was the same guy i spoke to yesterday, but he was being a bit of a cock. He said they wouldnt be able to fit it for as little as 200 and he couldnt give me a price at all… He said I'd have to drive there so they can look at my car first, then they'll arrange a fitting in a weeks time. Thing is, its about 1hr20 to get to Worcester for me and that means massive petrol costs for driving there twice and a big risk of getting stopped without and MOT :x
I called up the Newport branch instead and the guy was a bit more friendly there, said he can do it for £270 and he can do it tomorrow, they don't have to look at it then book me in a week later... which is good! Its a lot of money though, £270 is gonna empty my account!

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience so far. When I had mine done I just rolled up and said "i want a exhaust" guess I caught a quiet day. £270 might sound a lot but remember that for your money your getting a custom made exhaust that will sound the bollocks and last the lifetime of the car. and any way don't you students get another loan cheque booster around this time of year :P :D

Yeah, thats true, I think you def got lucky at A44, I would have have to of waited at least a week or 2, he said they have people comin from all over the UK…
Anyway, the place in newport "Welsh Coast Customs" sounded ok, so fingers crossed they will do a good job! I'll put photos up tomorrow night.

dude when you going to newport, might pop down and have a look at what they got to offer at same time. could be a chance to meet up with another peroson off here. i live bout 20 mins away. (normail speed) will be after a life time exhaust also but would love to see how much a manifold full system would cost.

Valley mate, I think I saw your MX-3 today??!
On my way out of WCC I saw an mx3 with nice wheels and a smashed in light on the one side. I stopped for a little while, but noone was around…
Very pleased with my new exhaust, looks and sounds like the dogs danglees!
I'll post a video up on youtube as soon as I can. They took quite a while, but the guy did a good job I think. It was £290, so it better be!

nope sorry mate, was ment to come down. but as left house with new music for car. went to unlock and my car thought nope. flat battery day….
toad alarm system went nuts ass. and had to spend 30 mins de-attaching the alarm box so i could either jump start it from another car or bump start. went for latter as no family car was around.was quite pissed as managed to get around newport just after 2. not happy.
anyway. will add a messenger addy in so can have a chat some time (everyone) ps what was the dammage on the student account as i get my load sat hehe!!!!!!!!!!

Its a good job I didnt have my car when I was a student otherwise I would have had no money left from my loan within a few days of getting it :D
