1 for the speed (speed limiter)
1 for the tach so it doesn't blow the engine (rev limiter)

arr, maybe mine only had an engine limitor, i was surprised when i got it into the red, and just assumed it was out :?

Just got back from my ring trip, she does 135mph at 7250rpm (not quite the limiter) got a photo too, but no web space to show you guys??

sorry mechanic I never responded to your original question :oops:
I did not remove it but rather when I bought my ecu years ago the guy asked if I wanted it removed or not and I told him to remove all the limiters and autofans :) not sure how he did it lol - alot of help I am :roll:

Just made sense of it :lol:
I cut the black wire with the white tracer on it. As you look at the pins on the ecu it is the fifth from the right on the top row.
Took it for a spin down my private stretch of road :P and got 140mph with a little more to go unitl the rev limiter. Happy bunny now :D
I have got to get a better camera phone :lol:

do u still have the rev limiter activated??? if so i would do this mod but if u loose the rev limiter think ill give it a miss. alot of time and money when into my car heh and i dont always watch my rev counter :(

Rev limiter still there, but god man you gotta be able to drive a car without hitting the rev limiter evrery gear change. :lol:
