Need car security advise

  • Hi lads,
some ones tryied robbing my car  .
what security you recommend as i cant have this kind of damage when i get my paint work done.

im thinking, motion sensor for if some one goes with in a foot of it the alarm goes off, boss steering wheel removal kit, fuel cut off switch, locking nuts when i get my wheels, pitbull in the car over night.

whats good and whats easy to do on the cheap, where can i get a motion sensor?
    thanks in advance

  • I had a motion sensor fitted on a previous car it was a pain in the ass, kept going of during the night, would jump out of bed and look but no one was there. I eventually found out that it was a bloody cat kept walking near it.. Took it off in the end.

Not alot you can do to protect it from damage, but alot you can do to make it immobilised a gypsy switch under the dash is a cheap way to stop any one driving away your motor. Just cut in the fuel pump or coil or starter live and put a switch in so even with the key they cant start it.

    mine was a pain too,
what are there proper names?ultrasonic/shock or microwave sensors?
even wind would set it off,so i turned the sensor down.
i got use to it after a while.
the thing is is if some one does go near with intentions to rob it,the senso bleeps and then they will think some one might of looked out.

you know any names for them quick release stering wheels?

  • i have an ebay jobbie fitted to mine and i have absolutely no complaints. pager, shock sensor, boot popper, remote engine starter.

    about £80!!
