only a shame if ya get pulled - then it's easy enough with some solvent remover and wet and dry paper to get the lights back to factory standard

as long as you can see the lights are red and you dn't make them to dark you could get away with smoking them and shouldnt get pulled unless you come across a very anal coppa.
i drove round with the punto ones like this for a year and didnt get any hassle
they tend to leave you alone if your car looks clean an looked after as then at least they dont get the impression your gonna chav it through a village at 90 etc.

if you can see the reflector in the light then yes it is LEGAL.
if u cant see the reflector then its ILLEGAL.

thinking of selling up guys! dunno what to do - miss my punto like craaaaaazyyyy so thinking of gettin a 1.8hgt abarth punto instead of the mx-3!

Thing is though i am looking at the 03 reg puntos with 30k on the clock - lower miles, cheaper to fix when they do go wrong than the mx too…
Just dunno - haven't got even half the enthusiasm to mod the mx as i had when i had my punto. plus looking at gettin a house and that soon so i need a reliable car that is gonna be cheap to fix if it does go wrong, the mx is reliable at the mo its spot on in fact but what happens if it does go wrong? is a lot dearer than the puntos to repair.
eeeeeeee so i have a dilemma.

they are also a lot cooler than puntos!

besides really do not like mr2's
punto would be just wheels as the abarth hgt is nice enough lookin anyway. and has the full sports suspension etc. plus not got the money to mod much more.

MAZDA 4 LIFE the only way i could get rid of my 1.6 was to buy 1.8 an d put a klze in it and the only time that will ever leave my hands is when i get so bored with it i have to pry myself away and buy an rx-7 efini

well then when i come to sell mine you can buy it ha ha!
just had the MOT done and the lad that did it said its mechanically spotless and is amazed that its 10 yrs old!
but no definately thinking of selling around january/february.

thing is aswell a 1.8 hgt abarth will beat the mx-3 v6 hands down if both are standard.
plus the punto has got all the new crumple zone panels which are a hell of a lot lighter plus is a smaller car anyway so chances are it would even beat a slightly tuned mx3 v6.
