Hi guys can someone tell me where the ECU is mounted on my 96 mx3 V6 please

Hey @mushman, it's normally under/behind the radio unit.
To access it - on the passenger side in the footwell to the right hand side, you will see a bit of plastic trim, you need to remove that trim, which is only held down with a couple clips & maybe a screw. Once that's out you will see the connectors and the ECU.
