Stearing wheel removal and LED Replacement rear bulbs

  • I'm sure someone knows how to remove the Stearing wheel, and does with the load on the rear lights on mine now almost doubled, anyone know of any good BRIGHT led replacements ?

  • ALL LED lights are fine as single units, the double ones for brakes are crap and barely noticeable so stick old skool, indicators are fine you just need something to load the system as they do not recognise such a low voltage with LED and just flash fast like the bulb has blown

Steering wheel is easy, disconnect battery for at least half an hour, 4 screws on back of steering wheel hold on airbag, undo them, airbag pops off and then you have the large 21mm socket in center to undo it, then using both knees and hands pull the steering wheel, if its stuck do tha and get a friend or non menopausal girlfriend to hit center with hammer while pulling wheel

K, I'll stick to old school bulbs for the back then, as all the lights on the rear end now are duel use.

Will do, many thanks bud :)

  • TIP

If needing to use hammer to break seal put nut back on and hit nut with hammer, it doesnt damage thread then and you dont hit yourself in the face with the wheel either lol

  • I hid in the passenger side footwell and reached around when removing the airbag! never can be too carefull
