Jay mx3's kl-ze drag car project

  • It's finaly getting close to be running    can't wail lol

  • nice….make a vid buddy!

  • just a few pics of the engine in now its light lol

  • Looks great! Nice colour scheme.

  • Looks good Jay, what have you got left to do to get engine running?

  • Looks great mate, bet you can't wait to give it some beans!

  • Thanks fellas

    Things left to do
Find out exactly the left engine mount fits
    Fit drive shafts
Finish plugging in all ther wires again find where they go
Fit a starter motor , altanatoer , power steering pump
    Get a new front window
    Get another 4 point harness
    Fit lexan rear screen
Put all new better breaks on
    Get an exhaust

So still plenty to get an fit lol

But can't wait till its done lol

  • had a bit of spare time i gave up on the gadges in the air vents so did this instead just need to heat wrap the wires then wire them in but its a start for now

also a friend was getting rid of a spare set of seats so i grabbed them in a flash as they were realy realy cheap there not in the best of condition but they will do for daily driving, nicer to sit in than the fibre glass seats
they will go back in for the track as they are lighter

this is the bad seat the other is in better condition

  • This is turning out to be a real cracker! Ill be interest on how you fit that Super Charger. Take lots of pics!

  • Thanks I have loads of plans for it just not loads of time lol its took 2years to get this far ill take loads of pics for you 8)

  • After it is running and supercharger is fitted
Next plan is ti fit the nos, paint the inside, get it vinal wrapped, wide wheels and arches and more carbon fibre lol so loads to do should look a beast when done and go well too

  • Jay to hide those wires, would it not be better to drill through the bottom of the pod mounts and through the dash so they go down the back of mount and then just wrap a small bit of wire in black and they will vanish then :bigok:

  • i will probably do something like that thanks :)

This I like the sound of! You going to be 'tubbing' the arches then 8)
Seats look exactly the right colour :D

not sure yet may just fit those arch exstentions on that you looked at and the cut the old arch away or widen the whole wing out not sure what would look best
its mainly so i can put wider wheels on for strip some thing like 225 wide not 100% sure yet its next years plan lol

  • i real would like to do some thing like this the rx7 feed kit but for cost i thik its going to be more like these that are on the mx5 and with a set of rota grid v's should hopefully work well

  • i was going to leave this for a bit before i showed you all but i could do with some honest opinions
so what do you all think to this on an mx3 this is totaly my design did it on forza lol

  • Oh wow. Do it.

  • nice design fella but have you thought/worked out the cost of such a graphic ,…
