Supercharging a v6



  • im planning on supercharging the v6 but i cant seem to find any info on it

    im starting to collect a few bits and bobs but im not 100% on what i need

    any info would be great full thanks

  • Eaton m62 charger off a slk 230 mercedes
    Marco is going to start knocking out adaptor plates and outlet pipes.
    A oil filter relocation kit.
    No air con. As your be using it's pully to drive charger.
    Belt.
    Upto 5psi prob won't need a intercooler or upgraded injectors.
    Engine management upgrades
    Might need to get different pully as marco said using standard air con pully and charger pully only puts out abou 2.5 psi.
    Dont go above 8-10psi on standard ze internals.
    If I think of any more I post it up.
    It's on my to do list but will be last thing.

  • The real key to making any engine huff properly is cams. The B engine was designed to do it, and the cams (with a bit of fiddling) work well.

    Stock K cams are not so clever at it, bit with some cunning adjustment, it can be done on the cheap. You just have to work it out. :D
