Bad discovery on the eunos fuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • holy shit mate, i didnt realise it was that bad. if i knew i would have warned you off it. i knew about the paint but i did tell you about that. sorry about that, hope i didnt tempt you into buying it (even though i was trying to put you off with the tapping engine noise ;) )

  • You will not believe the reply from the seller. At a body shop now getting an evaluation. Don't worry about it Dan! Hopefully get money back on parts. @f8cb6a0445:

yes i would like to see the paper work from a fully qualified mechanic to point out the rust you mention and the damage to frame rails!! has to be a fully qualified mechanic or mot tester i recieve this info from or no refund will be paid… your mate viewed the car and checked all these things before giving you the go ahead in buying it. i had this car checked by my friend who is an mot tester and said there was no welding or rust that needed attention!!! that car is a bloody good car, dont try and fucking rip me off, you bought it fair and square i told you a couple of places didnt match on the side skirts and splitter and told dan aswell as it sufferd from stone chips so i repainted it... there was no dents or scratches when i left the car at dans. he viewed the car and would have told you before hand if there was any bodywork damage when he viewed it!!! so the damage must have occured in the time it was left parked at dans. 7 owners... yeah whatever, the lady who i bought it from told me she had it since it was imported into the uk and are the brakes really plastic covers? i dont think so!!! when ive heard from or recieved a pre mot prferabley from your mechanic/mot tester then we will talk again. until then buy and thanks for purchaseing my car.

  • @c49711d4d1:

    Dear mx3marc,

effectively a wright off, how dare you. stop trying to rip me off. like ive said in my previous messgae, get me official proof of all these problems and a small refund may be eligible. but your friend did view the car before hand and gave you the go ahead in purchaseing, so in theory if htese problems were there when the vehicle was viewd, they should have been found as dan did look into great detail at the car.

  • Sounds a little defensive, hmmmm.

So i guess you need to do what he asks and i really hope u know an MOT tester who can gice you a full list of the problems so you can get the small refund mentioned!

  • Id be kicking the living shit out of the guy period,….

sounds like a right tool tbh,.. appears theres a few out there scammimg peeps just like this mate sorry youve been caught like it...
Hope you get something back ....

  • cant believe he thinks the damage occoured here pmsl. i gave marco the exact mileage of the car when it turned up and i didnt move the car, just started it occasionally to keep the battery charged up. again, i am sorry mate, i really didnt think it looked that bad from first inspection.

  • @032b257cab:

    Dear Andrew,

You said "this car has no rust what so ever, never had any welding" -

You said "Brembo front brake callipers" - see video removing fake brembro brakes with one finger: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=017KJGlWUxs

You said "not a scratch or dent to be seen" - only due to Dan visiting I knew this was not true. You are required to state the truth in any car listing, not to deceive. You did not state in the listing the dents, scratches, mismatched paint.

I took a plane to Exeter from Belfast just to get this car. I drove 900km+ and a ferry to get it home only to find it was rusted out under the windscreen, had welding done underneath to cover a hole in the passenger footwell and more. Can you not see my point of view? I wanted this car to be everything you said it was in the description. I could live with the gearbox being sloppy, the engine rattling, the couple of dents and scratches, the mismatched paint but the rust is just beyond what can be sensibly repaired. I have been to a bodyshop today who have stated the windscreen will need to be removed, old section removed, donor car section of the cowl/scuttle from another car or from Mazda welded in, plate underneath fixed, footwell fixed, rust above roof fixed. I can get a full report on the cost of repair - which alone will cost £40-60.

    Sincerely,
    Marc

  • im sure it was Dan playing Tig or hide and seek with his misses :P

haha u know im playing :)

  • its called tag  hahaha all the stone chips from us playing kiss chase outside pmsl

  • throwing vinegar over each other playing chip shop owner ! rusted the damn car!

  • Just watched the video,

please keep us posted i wanna know what his response to your video is!

  • Stuff like that keeps me away from buying a car via ebay or similar. My car sure isn't perfect - but at least I could take a look and give it a test drive before deciding to buy.

It really is a shame with your car. Did give a good first impression…

  • Fuck, Police would be called..

  • @7a35ae1008=DaveMc:

throwing vinegar over each other playing chip shop owner ! rusted the damn car!

hate to think of the chip shops in scotland if they do stuff like that ;) defo keep us posted marco, would be nice to know the resolution of this

  • i feel bad as i was sure everyone knew they were clip on calipers covers, i was going to post about them but didnt want to look stupid!. It also wasnt mentioned in ad about brembo brakes so it thought it was obvious.
Looks like a bit of a fiesta shitter, bad times! :(

  • Oh no no it's just as he protested to me saying the brakes were fake! It was also listed as a feature in the description.

  • Feck sake!!! Poor car! Really finding it hard to decide whether the seller could be that much of a cunt or just so irretrievably stupid. What a lovely attitude he has too and a complete lack of decency

Also, don't want to seem like a vulture but if you break, may I call dibs on the skirts?

  • Well you can indeed, as long as you pay the price  However I'm still deciding. I'm just so gutted about it. I might take it up somewhere with ramps for a good look at it. I think I know deep it down it has to scrapped though.

  • such a shame for such a beautiful car and a great guy. wonder if jdm rust sells well?

  • Bad times :( Especially with the effort you made coming over to get the car, that would piss me off the most, I thought it was bad enough living on the IOW when it comes to buying cars, there is nothing worse than travelling a long way for no reward…..................
