'out the box' spoiler idea!

  • Yo, now I got my garnish on and the oe spoiler off
I've been thinking about some kind of high level wing…

but using the original spoiler raised and shaved
    with some subtle wing tips….

  • Something that I was very near doing before I sold the MX was to fit the high level spoiler off an Alfa 156, I measured up the bootlid & spoiler of a 156 one day and it seems that the spoiler would fit on the MX almost perfectly. Pretty cheap too :)

Food for thought at the least I guess.

  • Definately, thanks for sharing :D

It does look nice fo sure

  • I personally don't think a big spoiler suits the 3, the whole look of the car is understated and smooth and to me a big spoiler just looks out of place, but then I have always been minimalist with my modification tastes.

  • I have a damaged erebuni spoiler

Will need some filler and sanding to get it back to good condition but its not beyond saving.

    £40 delivered

  • would you sell your garnish? I've a Mazda speed spoiler and need one

I disagree Im afraid, I think a tall wing can really suit the '3
as it detracts away from the massive rear window

Thanks for the offer admin, but thats a bit spaced aged looking for me

Rob ive only just bought it and its now fitted to my car, you can sell me
your mazdaspeed spoiler if you want :P

I massively agree with this, the rear green house is possibly the worst thing on the car.

Oh don't get me wrong, I agree with the fact that it needs something to hide the beasts massive glASS a bit but I've just never been a great fan of huge spoilers. It's just personal opinion really. I like subtle mods myself, other people like balls out ridiculous things. each to their own :)

Although having said that that Erebuni spoiler would look pretty sexy on my 3 :p shame I haven't got £40 spare cash laying around lol.

No he can't, I own it 8) , that's if I ever get enough details out of someone before the 15th to get the item picked up that is

I will swap it for an RS spoiler + cash Lori

Maybe something a little more understated like the the early wrx spoiler, not as mad as a mazdaspeed but would suit it

  • I think the GT wing (on touring car) in second pic looks pretty awesome!
..Especially with the red on the blade. ;)
