  • Nice pictures, very shiny car you have there!! Not sure about your model poses though LOL

  • Yeah he's a jackass.. ;) And thanx!

  • nice mx3 !

  • Next friday my mx wil do a dynorun.. :P Wish me luck!

    To do:

    • Dyno
    • EBC Ultimax brakepads
    • Fix my DVD tft screen
    • Fix square licenseplate on tow hook
    • JDM tow hook front and rear
    • JDM stickers
    • Reinforce suspension
Get ready for a free race at Zandvoort Racing Track! :P

  • good luck on the dyno. dont forget to post up your results as im sure many on here will be interested

  • YE-YEAH
    189BHP & 230NM! :P

  • Thats a lovely smooth curve :D

  • wow thats pretty impressive!!

  • To make my mx a little more circuit-ready, I got something nice from the states:

    Front crossmember! :P

I also bought a set of mx5 front seats. I'm going to try to get these to fit. If I manage to do so, I can get me a new set of leather ones! :P
That way I wont keep hitting the roof of the car when getting in and out.. :D

Andlast but not least, My FINAL chip is on its way! xD

  • w00t, SRD crossbar is on its way and I ordered a nice new set of HT ignition leads from the FPS.
With a little luck i might have something alse coming too, wich kinda improves performance on the circuit:
Carbon hood! :P Lot less weight and some more cool air in the enginebay.

I am also thinking of taking out the rear seats. I hardly ever use them and it kinda reduces weight a little. Then I can move the audio to the front and be able to get to my spare wheel again.

And i recieved the new chip! :P So need to put that in the next couple of days too!

    To-do for now:

    • SRD crossbar
    • Replace leads
    • Put in EBC brakepads
    • fit MX5 seats
    • Fit the chip
    • Change rear seats/trunk
    • Hood?

  • If you find a carbon supplier your end give us a link as ive been on the look for a while but dont want to import from the U.S rather go to france or germany, fit part there and drive home straight through customs!!.

I will jump in on that if thats okay??

  • I was going for second hand, since I only have about 215 to spend on it..

  • DOH!

  • w00t! Package from the states got delivered! :P

  • whats that then, wideband ?

  • ye-yeah! :P

  • Well, I installed the A/F meter yesterday.
Still running a little lean. WOT around 14.0-14.1:1 where it should have been around 13.2:1.
Think this is caused by the fuel pump. KLZE requires more flow and my old (19 years / 230000 km) cant really deliver that much anymore.
I also noticed that the fuel pressure doesn't really effect the a/f ratio.
I already read about it online, but now it shows that the ecu still corrects itself, or rather the injectors, at WOT (and closed loop).
It still uses the full WOT fuel pressure, but corrects the flow through the injectors.

Soooooo, ordered a Walbro 255lph.. :P More soon!

  • lean!, thats weird most run rich. :?
looks brilliant hope you make it to japfest 2011

  • Noticed I was a little shy on updates, so here goes! :P

    Done since last:

    • EBC Ultimax brakepads front and rear (Pretty decent brakepads!)
    • SRD Crossmember front
    • Performance crossmember rear
    • Walbro 255lph fuelpump

Because of the walbro I was able to put the fuelpressure back from 4Bar to 3Bar and has the WOT A/F ratio gone from 14,5 to the ideal 13,2.
Going to dyno on the 12th, so really anxious for the results!
My theory: I had 189BHP on the last run with a crappoor lean running engine. Now with the walbro i really NOTICE a difference. First gear full WOT is a definite no-go, so it should turn up as some significant horsies.

I also ordered a tacho, since mine doesn't do crap. It's one of those big-ass Type-R versions..

I've been searching for a nice set of wheels with track tires, but decided to stick with my 17" wheels and these tires:

I don't do that much miles and going to do tracktime twice this year, so these tires should be good enough to keep driving for at least a couple of years.
