FITTING Nismo R33 bumper to Eunos 30x - By 'Mr Custom' ;-)

  • 1st post updated guys. ;-)

  • @cd5c0a1c09=-eunos-:

Sorry boys… didn't know it was a problem... will keep that in mind... thanks DJ. ;-)

Heya, no problems, we gave up our rights to freedom of speech a few years ago so you probably wouldnt know that over there. Just if the board owners saw that they could shut it down

  • I think the running lights and indies are now too big compared to the headlights for my taste but nice job bud.

  • Daaaayum! That is sexy! Any way of closing the gap between the bumper and bonnet?

I wish you'd take off the fake scoops and the graphics though but either way the bumper looks awesome. Great work! :P

  • I really had little faith in this at the start, but I have to say the result looks very impressive. Still think your car needs a bit of 'less is more' but hey, it's your car. Well done, looks alot better than many aftermarket bumpers.

  • Thanks guys, yeah i'll be i'll be doing a more jdmstyle tune to it… getting a bit sick of the kitty.. lol

Merry Christmas too, have a safe holiday..

  • i wasnt sure about this when you started but the end result is brillint great work

  • Looks good!. Shame have to have the round side lights and turn lights

    Good work tho!

  • That looks awesome! I wonder if thats possible with a R34 or S14a bumper too.. :P

  • Kinda like it, but its edgey, could do with some wing mirrors with the same sort of edgeyness (is that a word?) but sweet job.

It should… the R34 has a very similar outer profile... you'd haveto seriously modify the center grille piece, cos it will definately won't just "fit in like it was made for it" lol.

as for the silvia kit, same kinda thing, its great cos both the skyline and silvia have flat bottoms of the lights, so it's really easy to shape and you don't need to "build" it up with Polyurathane.

If anyonee is keen to do something like this, feel free to ask Q's on how I did it...

  • I know you were scared to but I posted a pic of your car with a link to the thread for your bumper fitting and it pretty much got a resounding thumbs up from every comment from the members of my local jap car club and a lot of congratulation for the job you did :D

  • Really…?! sweet! whats the site...? yeah, i was really crappin myself about the feedback i might have gotten about it... i was dead sure i'd be shunned from here...

    I'm relieved...

With a bit more "spit & polish" that's good work! :D

  • Just seen this (so late lol) any updates? What does it look like now?

Gotta say I'm impressed! When I saw what you were trying to do I was thinking, this guy's lost his mind, that'd never work!

But then you did it!! :D Seriously impressive stuff! Cant wait to see the finished product (if you plan to post a pic :P) :)

  • Sorry about the late reply… I've since bought a Nissan 180sxDET
