Special Edition

  • I noticed on the door sill sticker that it says Special Edition, I searched the term but cant find any info on what the difference between the models are. My car always comes up as a GS, whatever that is, but the sticker says Special Edition, also, is the name on the top of the sticker the guy who built my car cos it seems a bit hard to imagine one guy building a whole car? Thanks

Is there anything after "special edition" if not it's not. It's just a cheaper way to produce stickers rather than make specific ones.

    Mine has, special edition :___________

  • Like this?

  • hmph, well its still special to me, regardless of the sticker :(

    but thanks for clarifying

Lol, never mind fella. There's only one SE and it's white and has different wheels and a special interior.

  • Mines got the same markings.

Guess it's only special in a forest gump kinda way. . Just keeps running and running and running!

Pffft sez you, mines Forrest Gump in another way. Although, it's been a good little retard recently lol.

  • It's worth a note that our SE - Marvin being an example - isn't called "Special Edition", just "SE". I think the only MX-3 to be called "Special Edition" was a North-American-market one in that cranberry colour.

**There's four engines, two gearboxes, three manufacturer names and five model names and three special editions.

Presuming Northern Ireland to be subject to the same DVLA regs as us, check your V5C for the make (Mazda, Eunos, AutoZam) and model (MX-3, Precidia, Presso, 30X, AZ-3).**

well i know its a mazda mx-3 1.6 1.6 dohc im talking variations like se or gs or wotever cause ive seen a couple and they dont all have half leather bk seats

  • Check the vin plate.

I think the UK ones say Mazda where the Imports should say Eunos (I've not seen a AZ3 one)

  • ahhhh i shall do that tyvm :D

  • **Equipe and SE are both 1.8s only. GS is a trim level for North American cars.

The only ones sold in the UK were MX-3 1.6, MX-3 V6, MX-3 V6 SE and MX-3 V6 Equip. If it's a UK car, it's one of those - and either it was ordered new with the half-leather or someone's fitted some afterwards.**

  • Its only in the back i wonder if its been fitted after hmmm i dnt mind it looks good
