Anyone know what the inlet manifold on the Xedos 9 is?

  • Anyone know what the inlet manifold on the Xedos 9 is?

Is it the same as a KLDE? or KLZE?

Is this a ZE curve neck?

Also a KLDE manifold on a Xedos 9?

  • yup its a curve neck and looks like a klde or ze also looks more like a millenia IM

didnt the xedos come with the 2.0l though, also the second pic looks like it has a k8 IM

  • The early Xedos 9 has got a KLDE 2.5 V6 engine (was replaced later on by the 2.3 Miller Cycle)

Thats Why I thout it strange when someone told me that the Millenia and the Xedos 9 were the same car and some of the Xedos 9's had the curved neck manifiold and sent me the two pics above which are both Xedos 9's.

Just wanted to know if the Xedos 9 IM is the same as the Millenia KLZE's we use?

Because they are alot easier to get hold of as they were available in the uk.

It certainly looks the same to me, but perhaps the guy in the pic had swapped in a KLZE?

Anyone know anything about the Xedos 9?

  • Right you are, first ones millenia/curved. Though I'm not sure all curved necks exit with square ports for the ZE, as there were curved neck DEs too apparently. I've seen only one millenia bay, and it had a curved neck. I've seen differences in the brakes too, some 2pot some 1 pot between xedos and millenia.

The second one isn't ZE, maybe klg4 or DE or KFZE?

  • damn right i got a Xedos 9 for my klze it is a Millenia KLZE inlet

    and before i rebuilt it

**The black car at least is a Millenia - LHD wiper sweep (so European or US spec) and no front plate (US spec only - front plates are mandatory in all of Europe). Plus it's a post-2000 facelift model, which is US market only.

But yes, the Xedos 9 and Millenia were the same car - along with the Japanese market Eunos 800. Only difference I know of is that the Eunos 800 was canned in 1996 (and became a Millenia in Japan), the Xedos 9 in 2001 and the Millenia persisted to 2003.**

  • James where did you get that from i want one

  • ebay i i got that car for 500 drove it home took the engine out scraped the car and rebuilt the engine
