Did this to my Civic also :D

Miss this car to bits (that's why I whore it so much, a 2 year project sent to the scrapper! :( )

  • That civics awesome, i hope you kept the wheels!!

theres one like that local to me.

Shame it went to the scrappers.. Crash?

Also, Mechanic, didnt realise you were local, i'm down the road in Colchester!

Yeah, did mean to say it'd be satin black, not Matt, Hope to spend a whole weekend on it, prep the saturday, and degrease and spray the sunday!

Would Rollering it on or spraying it on be better? i'm still quite new to spraying things, only really done wheels and small things before.

    just take your time

  • I'm a big fan of matte black :)

cheap and easy to maintain… and I'm not a fan of gloss so it works out great! 8)

Nah. I'd been doing it up for about 2 years, stripping it, spraying it and I was doing work to get it track ready.

It had failed it's MOT before I started on it so I SORN'd it and started the work only to be made redundant. The decision was a hard one really but the sensible one at the end of the day, what with just getting a mortgage at the time and waking up every day for 3 months staring at a car I couldn't do anything with so I stripped it and sold it bit by bit until it was basically just the chassis and the unboltable bits of body.

  • my track project
