Document it well! Write down everything that happened whilst it's fresh, keep a log of communication events. Damage isn't horrific at least. I had 2 alloys cracked to destruction by some twat with metal falling off his trailer :( Feel your pain though.

Yeah, the damage isn't that bad but it's just the fact they've been freshly refurbished that's annoyed me the most. I was trying to keep the car pristine :roll:

Now christmas and new year is out of the way I've decided to start cracking on with the car again. I'm off work this week so I've decided to do some work to tidy the engine up. I've ordered some ignition lead clamps and I'm going to buy some paint tomorrow to do the valve cover.
Should be fun if the snow returns :roll:
Future plans for the engine clean up include:
A new battery (seen a blue one :D )
New ignition leads (red? Roc spares, I'll be in touch soon :wink: )
Silicone hoses (blue)
CAI (Roc, I'll be in touch soon)
Greddy catch tank
Denso spark plugs

So my plans at the end of this week are to get the rocker off and spray it. I've found the colour I want for it.
I'm also off to the Seat garage to get a Leon splitter to fill a little bit of space under the front bumper, get an oil catch tank and I might get some new vacuum hoses as well (oh yes, it's pay day on friday!).

So I went up to the Mazda garage today and they came up completely blank with the V6 splitter, so I popped round the corner (literally) and picked up the alternative:
Leon Cupra R splitter (£23 from Seat!- Bargain, especially when idiots on Ebay try flogging them for £26+ p+p!)These also arrived the other day:

Nope, easy really (easier than when I put one on the Pug!). About 4 self tapping screws and chop a little off at the arches.

cool splitter! does it make the underside of the bumper more flat
and is the new splitter solid underneath, ie : you could bolt up additional corner splitters too it ?! :wink:

got a side shot? cheers.Cheers. Yeah as long as you don't screw/bolt it up where the bumper rises it's flat. The underside is flat too, so I suppose you could put additional corner splitters on it, I'll get more pics later for you tomorrow. I'm debating whether or not to colour code it (and tidy the bumper up at the same time) or not :roll:

Dont do it!!
Much prefer the originals, plus much better build quality.
also, alot of dosh for those headlights.

I know, I have an utter hatred for these things as well but Mooneggs looks quality with them and I saw another 3 with some on and loved it. Either that or some HIDs….....
I am going for the smoked rear lights though definitely (especially after oor lass said my car looked like a Ford from behind-yes, I know, Mazda=Ford. Ford=Mazda)..........

I believe the pics I have posted are from when I had custom modded civic projectors… way different from the new projectors that are OEM fit...
I like how the new black projectors look...

Think they would defo suit your car, and mine,lolIts a shame no-one did a twin headlight conversion for these motors along
the lines of the morette ones for pugs etc!
