  • bit of an update bought an eaton S/c off a friend so i've been down playing around with different layouts on it and the only way it will work is if i move the oil filter housing

    so i've a plate being made up to relocate the filter housing along with an oil cooler i've a box being fabbed up for the inlet/outlet i've 2 rolls of heat wrap on the way to keep things cool

  • What engine management are you going to use?

    Is that on a K8 or ZE?



  • not forced to upgrade management for a straight charged engine, up the fueling, and pipe work get it bigger.



  • tis on a k8, and management wise i'm gonna get it runnin and see how i fare out the i'll think of emanage or motec



  • right well i've made up my mind i'm goin for the go tech pro x with individual coils and map sensor 1300 + mapping

    i'm gettin the airbox redone for better flow that was a quick mock up to see how i could make it work

  • got my charger back just waitin brackets to mount it also decided to v mount my oil cooler and intercooler, got a adjustable fpr but the gauge doesnt work



  • Supercharger is off getting a bit of work done. I'll hopefully get a bit more work done in the coming weekends. Here's some picture of the proper brackets i made up for the V mount, just working on ducting. got a half rad for an eg civic and going to use that instead

  • well i hope the have the sc on and plumbed in for june ad i'm having a charity trackday on the 4th and have TDP's dyno up there so i'll dyno it then (dunno if i'll have amanagment system worked out) if it blows it blows !!

    i didnt like the original sc inlet manifold i had made so got it redone as you can see in the picks alot nicer now.

    i'm debating on ksport 6pot breaks, 295 or 330mm???????

    i'm gonna pick up an oldschool apexi Safc to sort out fueling and see how it handles it.

  • LSD:
    Quaife ATB diff costs about £1200 or something comical, but great product
    MFactory ATB diff costs about £500? I can't remember, that's what I'm waiting to install
    Phantom Grip costs a few hundred but isn't a true LSD, some love some hate

    Gears:
    A few different ratios about, k8 box is closest, 626 IIRC is longest. Some use the 323 GTR 3rd gear set, meant to be a little stronger. Cryro treating could help.

    PAR do a dog/straight cut set, but it'll cost you big time!
