Out of Town mpg 36.2
Average mpg 28.0 = 5 worse :OWhat you need the room for? I find the mx3 quite spacious for its size. I go gigging alot and often have my marshall half stack, couple of guitars and my girlfriend in the front. Though people in the back seats do whine, but hey could be worse, could be a hyundai coupé!

Space wise for transporting general crap you'd be suprised how much you can stuff into a 3 with the back seats down and the parcel shelf removed I've moved house twice using my car and managed to et a hell of a lot more stuff in that I thought I would. however people wise unless your a midget or child your gonna get a bit cramped in the back :lol: My ex was 5'4" and when she sat in the back she'd bang her head on the roof if I went over a speed bump. And before anyone asks why she was relegated to the back its because my mate is 6'6" so the only way he could get in the back is if I folded him double and put him in the boot :lol:

just found out tonight as i was just to go to a cruise. that the joints between my back box and middle pipe, the gasket has gone. so thought ommm thats why im getting low mpg. (at moment 32, usually around 36) so decided to stay in tonight. tomorrw is a nice day of taking box off instant gasket and maybe green paint. with tips.

im guna get a diesel one, you get about 45mpg!
need the room because im a carpenter and although i agree the 3 has got alot of room, but the agro of folding the seats up and down and taking tools ot because they are on display is getting a little well BORING lol!!!I cant get a van coz missus has an mx 5 and see doesnt wana get rid of that!!

my K8 Mx3 does an average of 23 miles to the gallon :)
sometimes more , but often less , much less

i know this is an old topic but i only worked out my mileage today!
over 30mpg and thats giving it the welly a good bit. could be pushing 34,35 if i took it easy.
absolutely completely standard. for now…...
