<![CDATA[Stand Alone ECU]]>Anyone got any suggestions for a stand alone ECU, i know it will cost more than a MS or probinator chip, but i think it will be worth it.

I have already looked into other stuff like chips but this is just for fuel mapping i believe???

You can do fuel and timing maps with MS. It also has programmable outputs for VRIS, shift light nitrous etc.

I'm picking mine up today after it was away for repair as the chip was defective. So I'll keep you updated as to how that goes.

There's also Autronic, Electromotive, Haltech, Motec, AEM etc to consider.

Megasquirt tends to get 10-15WHP extra over chip or kl31/36 ECUs. I'm sure the other EMS brands are capable of the same.

I have seen alot of people over on the 205 forum struggle with MS to be honest as it will be a steep learning curve if you've never touched on anything like it before!
