<![CDATA[Fog lights - Are yours dim too?]]>Its been on my mind for a while now to remove the fog lights completely, since I can sell them on and I like the look of the front end better without them. But I was wondering, mine are utterly useless at night or in fog, theyre 55w and both bulbs are new, I replaced them when I got the car. When Ive used them they barely manage to light up even 3feet infront of the car, the sidelights are more powerful and theyre only 5watt.

So yeah, is this just mine or is it just a normal thing that the lights supplied for dangerous conditions do absolutely nothing to aid visibility despite eating as much as a full beam bulb?

So basically, no, mine aren't dim.

I do believe there are several screws holding the glass cover on the spots fella, if yours are anything like mine (and the majority of 3's) they will be nicely rotten.

Could just be as simple as the bulbs, the bulbs are HID units, they might just be on their way out?

I couldnt see any difference when driving with lights on so i just used to leave mine on because i think it looked cool lol
