I believe the KJ mounts up but there's one bolt hole missing.</p>
<p>The KJ is taller and deeper than any of the other K-series engines and two of the four engine mounts are in different places. Everyone who's every thought of, or attempted a KJ/MX-3 transplant has given up - though there's apocryphal tales of Mazda bringing one along to a motorshow somewhere in 1995.**</p>

<p>You can't really get KJs cheap either. You'd probably have to buy a whole car to get one cheaply (my Xedos 9 Miller cost me £770). Lovely engine though.**</p>
